By passing these exams, any student can show that they have college-level knowledge in a particular subject or course.

CLEP started in 1967 by: The College Board, which is the same organization that gives the SAT test. If you pass the test you will receive full credit for the course you are testing for.

The cost for a CLEP test is $65 plus administration fees. The administration fees usually run a bout $15 to $25 for the testing center to give you the test and watch to make sure you are not trying to cheat on a test.
