CLEP is a series of exams in undergraduate college courses

By passing these exams, any student can show that they have college-level knowledge in a particular subject or course.

If you take this route you can skip months of classroom work and lectures. You can even earn your degree without having any homework assignments. You won’t have all the research and term papers to turn in either.

Over 2900 colleges and universities in the United States except CLEP test credit. The CLEP test scores are valid for up to 20 years after you have completed the examination.

The cost for a CLEP test is $65 plus administration fees. The administration fees usually run a bout $15 to $25 for the testing center to give you the test and watch to make sure you are not trying to cheat on a test. Compare these figures to what it costs for one semester at a college or university.

The CLEP program is a good program to earn additional college credits. The CLEP credits can even be applied as a supplement an online degree program.
