One way to get started with your online business is to start small by selling a product or service that is of use to your target audience. Once you have your foot in the door you can expand your offers and refer your buyers to a larger offer on another one of your web sites.
The idea is to grow with your business so communicate in the forums and read the leading blogs in your field. This is where you will be able to put your finger on the pulse of your niche.
Lets say you are trying to build some credibility in the health and niche but you don’t quite know where to start. You should pick one part of the health field as your niche and then build your credibility up from there.
For example you could go with allergies or weight loss to start the ball rolling. Build some good information sites and make sure that you go heavy on the good information.
Use good keywords in your domain name and title tags for your web site. After you get your web site up you should build some satellite sites on free blogging sites and social networking sites to give yourself some good back links.
You may want to build several or these online business sites around a general health site that sells a larger product or a course that you can funnel your customers to later.

2009 May Be the Best Year to Start a New Online Business
Most people are feeling a crunch here in the United Stated as we try to get our economy back on track. People are not feeling as secure in their jobs anymore. In fact they previously took it for granted that there job would always be there along with the vacation pay and insurance.
Working or not you might find that 2009 may be the best year to start a new online business of your own. It is a hard fact to face but security in the work place is becoming harder to find. People in all walks of life are being kicked out or their comfort zones because they lost their jobs or had their benefits cut.
This is the time that people have historicallystarted new businesses or looked for less traditional ways to earn the income in an effort to get their family and finances back on track.
Working or not you should consider starting a new online business as an income source. You can still work at your job or look for other types of work, but you can start building your online business in the background. As you learn the ropes your income will grow until you decide to take it on as a full time income generator.

Make Your Own Digital Product- Sit down and write a how to manual for any tasks that you can describe from work or a hobby that you have. People search the Internet for this kind of information all the time.
Sell Digital Files - You can contract your work if you can do any work that can be delivered to your client in digital format. This works for graphics, drafting, digitizing, writing, and many more services that you could sell online.
Keep your mind open and remember that if you are in fear of losing your income or have already lost your income, you can start a new online business to replace that income and possibly make more money than you did at your job.
